Ingredients for making garlic pickle
One and a half cup garlic, half cup mustard oil, two spoons fennel, one spoon yellow mustard, one spoon black mustard, half spoon fenugreek seeds, one spoon red chilli powder, one spoon turmeric powder, one spoon asafoetida, one spoon vinegar.
Method to make Garlic Pickle:
To make garlic pickle, first take one and a half cup garlic. Peel the garlic and wash it with clean water. After this, keep the garlic in the sun to dry. After some time, move the garlic up and down with your hands so that its wetness goes away and it dries thoroughly. Keep in mind that there should be no water left in the garlic. Now we will prepare the garlic pickle masala. To make the masala, first take two spoons of fennel, one spoon of yellow mustard, one spoon of black mustard and half a spoon of fenugreek seeds. Now grind all these ingredients coarsely in a mixer or on a sieve.
Now add half cup mustard oil in a pan. When the oil becomes lukewarm, add coarse spices into it. After this stir it with a ladle. After that add one spoon ground red chilli, one spoon turmeric powder and one spoon asafoetida. Now after this add dried garlic and add salt as per taste. Turn off the gas. When it cools completely, add one spoon vinegar to it. Now your garlic pickle is ready. Store it in some container.
