200 grams gram flour, half cup desi ghee, one and a half cup sugar, cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins and saffron

  • First StepTo make gram flour pudding, first turn on the gas. Place a pan on the gas. Pour half a cup of desi ghee in the pan. Now add 200 grams of gram flour in this ghee and fry it well. Roast the gram flour until it turns red. Roast the gram flour on medium flame only or else it may burn.

  • Step 2: Turn on the gas on the other side and place a pan. Add 2 spoons of ghee. Now add finely chopped dry fruits like cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins etc. to it. When they turn light red, take them out.

  • Step 3: Now place a vessel on the gas and add 1 glass of water in it and let it heat up. When the water becomes hot, add one and a half cup of sugar in it. When the syrup becomes thick, turn off the gas.

  • Step 4: Now in the next step, see that the gram flour has turned completely red. Now add sugar syrup to it and mix well. Keep stirring continuously so that there are no lumps in the halwa. Now add a glass of water to the halwa and fry it on medium flame. Your halwa will be ready in 10 minutes. Now add roasted dry fruits to it. Your hot gram flour halwa is ready.
