Himanshu Tyagi IFS: Government officer told about the problem
IFS Himanshu Tyagi was an excellent student. He passed JEE and UPSC exams, which are among the toughest exams in the world. Was a gold medalist while studying at IIT Roorkee. You will be surprised to know that there was no special study environment in his house. Despite that, he made his own path. IFS Himanshu Tyagi was troubled by his childhood habit of not being able to focus on one task. He not only controlled this but also told others great hacks to increase focus.
1- Do only one thing at a time
It is important to focus on living today i.e. the present moment. If you do not focus on any one task, your body, mind and brain will remain in different places. With this you will feel stressed and your mind will not be anywhere. To increase focus, you can take help of meditation but this alone will not be of any benefit. Practice is needed to build and increase focus. Make a habit of doing only one thing at a time. Don’t think about anything else at that time.
2- Perfection is not necessary in every work
Most people run after perfection. They forget that one cannot be perfect in every work. You are a normal human being and it is natural for you to make mistakes. The most difficult thing in this world is to control your mind. If you learn to control your mind, you will be able to face every difficulty of life easily. Even when practicing focus, don’t expect 100 percent perfection.
3- Keep distance from distraction
Focus is an art. One can become perfect in this only with practice. Try to stay away from distractions until you master the art of focusing. If you make a habit of living with distractions, you will never be able to focus perfectly. Next time you become a part of any unnecessary conversation, observe yourself. Keep in mind that the art of focus can be developed only by removing distractions from life.
