In fact, a new study in the Journal of Biomedical Central Public Health says that people who do not drink coffee and sit for more than 6 hours have a 60 percent higher risk of premature death than those who drink coffee and sit for less than 6 hours. This study is a kind of warning for those people who avoid moving their body and are always busy working or gossiping while sitting. At the same time, the importance of coffee has also been underlined in this study. The study says that drinking coffee increases the overall ability to live in adults. Drinking coffee provides relief from metabolic problems. If the metabolism is not right, it increases inflammation in the body and the risk of death increases manifold. If along with this there is a sedentary lifestyle, then this risk increases manifold.
Sitting for long periods of time is more dangerous

A sedentary body can paralyze the whole body. He said that sitting for a long time can cause many problems at once. First of all, it will cause back pain which will slowly start hollowing out the bones of your waist. Sitting for a long time puts pressure on the spine and joints, which causes back pain and a lot of problems in posture. Due to this, the spine starts becoming crooked and slowly starts weakening. Due to this, the muscles near the hip start becoming tight and due to this the hamstring muscles will also start becoming tight and due to this there will be difficulty even in stretching the legs. In such a situation, there will be difficulty in walking and there will be a fear of falling while walking.
The blood won’t reach the feet
Dr. Priyanka Rohatgi said that apart from all this, when you sit in one place for a long time, the blood from the lower part of the legs will start to rise upwards and the blood will not come down. This will cause swelling in the lower part of the legs. This is called deep vein thrombosis (DVT). A 2018 study found that if you sit in one place for even two hours, then along with the neck and shoulder, there will be pain in the lower back, lower limbs, thighs, wrists, hands and feet. The effect of all this is not limited to bones and muscles only but also causes problems inside the stomach. This will not cause proper metabolism. Due to slow metabolism, less energy will be produced and due to this there will always be fatigue and weakness in the body.
How to avoid these things
Dr. Priyanka Rohatgi told that first of all try to walk for at least half an hour every day or do any physical activity. Even if your job requires sitting, do not take tension. After sitting on the chair, get up from the chair for 5 minutes every half an hour and walk around or stand up. Secondly, you can move your body even while sitting on the chair. Every half an hour, while sitting on the chair, tighten your feet completely forward and raise both hands upwards and turn backwards and then turn forward. Apart from this, stretch your waist while sitting on the chair. From time to time, while sitting, keep moving your neck and shoulders slowly forward-backward, right-left. Make sure to climb two-three floors of stairs every day in the office.
