Love story of Radha and Krishna
It is believed that when Shri Krishna was eight years old, he met 12 -year -old Radha. Shri Krishna started loving Radha. Both also wanted to marry each other. When Radha’s family came to know about this, he imprisoned Radha in the house. He was also against the marriage of Radha and Krishna as Radha had already been engaged. It is said that Shri Krishna was adamant on marrying Radha Rani. On this, Yashoda Mata and Nandababa took her to Rishi Garg. Rishi Garg also explained a lot to Kanha. After this Kanha came to Mathura. He left Vrindavan and moved to Mathura forever. He promised Radha that he would return, but he never returned. Nor is there any mention of Radha ji going to Mathura or Dwarka.
Why did Radha and Krishna not get married?

This is the reason that he had to bear Sita’s disconnection in Ramchandra avatar and he could not marry Goddess Radha in Krishna avatar.
Did Radha refuse marriage?
There is also a view that Goddess Radha herself refused to marry Shri Krishna. Radha loved Yashoda’s son Kanha, but when he went to Mathura, Radha Rani did not consider herself suitable for the life of palaces. People wanted Shri Krishna to be married to a princess. Therefore, Radha decided not to marry Shri Krishna. It is also said that Radha realized that Shri Krishna is an incarnation of God. She started to consider herself a devotee. Why did Shri Krishna not return to Radha?
