New Delhi: There have been reports of major accidents in different states of the country in the last 24 hours. A total of 48 people have died in these accidents and many people are injured. These accidents have happened in Rajkot in Gujarat, Vivek Vihar and Krishna Nagar in Delhi, Shahjahanpur in UP and Mumbai in Maharashtra.
How many deaths where?
- 27 people died in a massive fire at TRP Gaming Zone on Kalawad Road in Rajkot, Gujarat. High flames of the fire were seen several kilometers away. Several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot to control the fire.
- 11 people died in a tragic accident in Shahjahanpur, UP on Saturday night. A total of 11 people died and 10 people are reported to be injured when a truck overturned on a bus here. After the accident, the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
- A case of a massive fire has come to light in a baby care center in Vivek Vihar, Delhi on Saturday night. 6 children have died in this fire and 6 have been admitted to the hospital. One child had died even before the fire incident. The bodies of a total of 7 children have been sent for post-mortem.
- In Delhi’s Krishnanagar, 3 people have died and 10 have been injured in a fire. The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Anju and her 18-year-old son Keshav. The third body has not been identified as it is badly burnt.
- An elderly woman has died after being hit by a doctor’s car in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The woman met with an accident in the premises of Sion Hospital. The matter is gaining importance because this accident happened with the car of Sion Hospital’s well-known doctor Rajesh Dhere. Police sources have given this information. On the basis of the complaint of the deceased woman Zubaida Sheikh’s son Shahnawaz Khan, the police have registered a case under IPC sections 304A, 388, 279, 203, 177 and sub-section 184 and have arrested doctor Rajesh Dhere.
