A shocking incident has come to light with a student preparing for NEET examination in NEB police station area of Alwar district of Rajasthan. When the student went for coaching, a rickshaw driver misled her on the pretext of leaving her on Bhagat Singh Circle and kidnapped her with three of her friends. It is alleged that the four accused took the girl to a deserted place and gang -raped her, during which they made videos and took pictures. The incident took place on April 22 at around 1 pm, but the case was registered on 29 April.
They ran away throwing him near the city hospital.
The victim is a resident of Bhiwadi and was preparing for NEET by staying in a rented house with her brother in Alwar. On the day of the incident, she was going towards Agrasen Circle, when she stopped a tempo. There were already four strangers sitting in the tempo. Instead of taking him to Bhagat Singh Circle, the tempo driver took him to a deserted area towards the madrasa, dropped the curtains and attacked him brutally along with three others. The four accused raped her for about three hours and later ran away from the city hospital at four in the evening.
The accused have not been arrested yet.
Despite receiving information about the incident, the accused have not been arrested yet. The victim’s father has lodged a complaint with the police station and the police have registered a case and started investigation. Police say the accused are being identified and they will be arrested soon, but questions are being raised about the seriousness of the incident and the slow pace of action.
