On Monday, a couple of Barmer city celebrated this special day in a unique way on Ambedkar Jayanti. 70 -year -old Govardhan Ram Chauhan, a resident of Mahavir Nagar in the city, and his 69 -year -old wife did this sacred work by submitting a resolution letter of prostitution to the Government Medical College. Making this unique step even more special, his son Premraj Chauhan and daughter -in -law Parvati were also present on the occasion along with Nursing Officer Chhagan Dhande working in their inspirational district hospital.
Govardhan Ram Chauhan said that due to lack of education and awareness, people are afraid to donate. This is causing obstacles for future doctors to practice in Barmer Medical. He said that to provide better knowledge and opportunities to these future doctors, he organized Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti program on his birthday, inspired by Chhagan Dhande. Dinesh Parmar submitted a resolution letter to Acharya for body donation.
His wife Amiya Devi said, “Today we are proud that I and my husband got a chance to do this noble job.” This step of Govardhan Ram Chauhan and Amia Devi is not only a commendable initiative but also an inspiration for the society. His move will help future doctors of Barmer Medical College to get better education and training and others will also get inspiration for this sacred work.
By celebrating Ambedkar Jayanti in this unique way, Govardhan Ram Chauhan and Amia Devi have not only taken their responsibility towards the society, but have also taken an important step towards building a better future of future generations.
