A case of murderous attack on a groom with a knife has come to light in Kota district of Rajasthan. The seriously injured groom has been admitted to a private hospital after the incident. During the attack, there was a stampede in the wedding ceremony, in which two-three barati was also injured. The entire incident took place in Khati Kheda village of Deoli Manjhi police station area of the district. At the same time, after getting the information, the police also reached the spot and inquired about the incident.
Rural Superintendent of Police Sujit Shankar said that the entire incident happened between people of the same community. A case has been registered based on the complaint of the family members of the injured groom. The investigation so far has revealed that the people who attacked are residents of the bride’s village. In such a situation, information is being taken from both sides about the reason behind this attack. The injured groom has been admitted to a private hospital in Kota, where the police is recording his statement.
Meanwhile, Pawan, cousin of the injured groom Lakshminarayan, told that he had reached Kheda village Khati Kheda near Char Chauma with a procession. As soon as the procession was moving towards the bride’s house, the miscreants created a furore just 500 meters from the bride’s house and stabbed the knife in the groom’s back. Due to this, the groom fell from the horse. After this, guests who came to the wedding in a stampede were also injured. The injured groom Lakshminarayan has been admitted to the hospital where he has deep wounds on his back.
