quota. A heartbreaking incident came to light on Thursday morning in Gulabbadi in Rampura area of the city. A one and a half year old innocent girl playing on the road with Dada was suddenly attacked by stray dogs. The girl was caught in her mouth and dragged for about 7 feet.
The incident took place around 6:30 am when the girl was playing outside the house with her grandfather. Dada was walking at some distance. In this way, 2–3 dogs pounced on the girl and grabbed her from the mouth and dragged her on the road.
As soon as Dada’s eyes fell on the girl, he rushed and somehow drove the dogs and rescued the granddaughter. At that time the girl was badly bled. Drawing on the back caused wounds and teeth cutting marks were also found in many places.
Admitted in hospital, injections
The girl was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital, where necessary injections including rabies and tetanus were made. Doctors said that the girl does not have serious grinds, but the incident is also mentally shocking.
CCTV video of the incident also surfaced
The CCTV footage of the entire accident has come out, in which it can be clearly seen how an innocent girl suddenly became a victim of violence of stray dogs. The video has created an atmosphere of anger and anxiety across the city.
Local people said: ‘Administration to get rid of stray dogs’
After the incident, the residents have demanded strict action from the municipal administration regarding the increasing number of stray dogs. People say that the terror of dogs is increasing in Gulabbadi and surrounding areas, which is now proving fatal for children.
