Prime Minister Narendra Modi has divided the ministries among his allies. The special thing is that the ministries of the old ‘players’ in Narendra Modi’s team have not been changed. Another important thing is that most of the big ministries have been given to BJP leaders only. But the allies have also not been upset. They have also been given many important departments including aviation, food processing. Rajnath Singh will again be seen handling the Ministry of Defense. Amit Shah will look after the work of the Home Ministry. Nitin Gadkari, famous as the ‘Highway Minister’, has once again got the Road Transport Ministry, while S. Jaishankar will be seen handling the Foreign Ministry. The PM has once again expressed confidence in Nirmala Sitharaman as the Finance Minister.
No change in CCS
If we look at the departments of the ministries, no changes have been made in the Cabinet Committee on Security. This five-member committee will include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Ashwini Vaishnav will again take over the responsibility of running the railways. Hardeep Puri has been made the Petroleum Minister. If Piyush Goyal looks at the Commerce Ministry again, Giriraj Singh has got the Textile Ministry.
Changes in their departments
Most importantly, BJP President JP Nadda has been given the Health Ministry. Earlier this ministry was with Mansukh Mandaviya. Mandaviya has now been given the responsibility of the Labor Ministry. Jyotiraditya Scindia’s ministry has also been changed. Earlier he used to handle Aviation, now he will have the responsibility of the Telecom Ministry. The Civil Aviation Ministry will be handled by Ram Mohan Naidu from TDP. It was being said that this ministry was the priority of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
Shivraj gets big ministries
Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who was the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for a long time, has been given the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Farmers Welfare and Ministry of Rural Development. He will have the task of reaching out to the people and farmers of the village and solving their problems. Manohar Lal will handle the Ministry of Urban Development. Prahlad Joshi will be the Minister of Consumer Affairs. CR Patil will handle the Ministry of Jal Shakti. He will have the responsibility of providing tap water to every house under the Prime Minister’s ambitious scheme. Chirag, who calls himself ‘Modi’s Hanuman’, has been given an important responsibility. He has been given the responsibility of food processing. Kiren Rijiju has also been given an important responsibility. He has been made the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs. Ravneet Bittu will look after minority affairs. This responsibility is very important in terms of Punjab.
