The investigation into the murder of Indore transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi in Meghalaya has taken a new twist. Initially, from the arrest of his wife Sonam, it seemed that the matter would be resolved, but now the case is getting entangled. Police have confirmed that Sonam along with her boyfriend Raj Kushwaha hatched a conspiracy to assassinate the king. However, Raj is considered the master mind of this murder. Raja’s brother and Sonam’s Jeth Vipin has claimed that there are three more people in the murder case, which the police will soon get information. However, he did not name these three. Vipin said that on the night of 23 May, Sonam wore a black T-shirt and white shirt. During that time, there were blood stains on the white shirt, which Sonam tried to erase the evidence by throwing it near the king’s body. After withdrawing money from the king’s pocket, Sonam gave them to those accused and said that kill the king, I will give you 20 lakh rupees. After this, Sonam and her fellow accused escaped from there. According to the police, a jacket was also thrown about 8 km from the body, which was probably part of the attempt to erase the evidence.
Family left Sonam’s support
After Sonam’s name surfaced, her family has also distanced him. Sonam’s brother Govind said that he has been evicted from home. Govind says that the king was special for his family and he would try to take strict action against Sonam so that he could be hanged. The doors of Sonam’s house are closed and her parents have put themselves under house arrest. Govind is currently staying in a hotel and he said that he had earned a lot of respect, so now I do not feel like going to that house.
Sonam is doing drama in front of police
The special investigation team (SIT) of the police has not yet been able to find out who is the real master mind of this murder. According to DIG Eastern Range of Shillong, DNR Marak, Sonam Raghuvanshi is giving wrong information several times during interrogation. The police is investigating the things that he has told. Sonam is pretending to be emotional many times in the lockup. She is putting all the accusations on her lover Raj Kushwaha. At the same time, Raj Kushwaha also tells the police that Sonam is the master mind of the murder conspiracy. At present, both are being interrogated separately, but soon the police will sit face to face and strictly inquire them so that the truth can be revealed.
