Jaipur. Before the onset of monsoon, the heat has once again started to rise in Rajasthan. The heat has taken away the peace of day as well as night. The mercury has jumped so much that on Sunday it has once again reached 46.5 degrees Celsius in Sri Ganganagar of western Rajasthan. Due to the scorching sun and hot winds, the roads have again started to become deserted in the afternoon. The temperature of many districts including Dholpur, Sangaria, Pilani, Churu and Karauli remained above 45 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may increase further today and tomorrow. The maximum temperature in some areas of Bikaner, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions can go up to 44 to 47 degrees. Therefore, the general public should be cautious. Due to the continuous rise in temperature, hot winds are troubling even at 9-10 pm in the night. Due to this, there is no relief from the heat even at night. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert in 9 districts of the state today.

Alert issued for rain along with heatwave
Along with the heat wave alert, the Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and rain in some areas of Kota and Udaipur divisions of eastern Rajasthan today. The weather is expected to remain dry in western Rajasthan. Heat wave affected some areas of Bikaner and Jaipur divisions. Heat wave continued in Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur even at night. Heat wave warning has been issued in Alwar, Dausa, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Churu, Hanumangarh and Sriganganagar today. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms and rain in Banswara, Baran, Bundi, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Pratapgarh and Kota. During this time, strong winds can blow in these areas at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
