Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated the Rajasthan Day celebrations in Barmer on Tuesday. This is the first time that a state level program has been started from Barmer instead of another district. During this time, the Chief Minister transferred the amount through DBT to the accounts of 30 thousand beneficiaries under the Lado Promotion Scheme. Women groups were given a CIF of about Rs 100 crore. The amount was transferred. Along with this, the beneficiaries were given gifts through various schemes.
At the state level women’s conference, the Chief Minister interacted directly from various districts of the state and through video conferencing. He said that Rajasthan Day will now be celebrated according to the date of Indian calendar in place of English date. Expressing pride in the participation and empowerment of women, the Chief Minister said that the state government will make every effort to fulfill the dreams of women.
