New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday launched its campaign song for the Lok Sabha elections. The party has linked the Lok Sabha campaign song to the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his jailing. The opening lyrics of the campaign song are ‘We will vote in response to jail’. A chair was kept vacant for national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal at the party headquarters in New Delhi. Many big leaders of Aam Aadmi Party were present at the launch of the campaign song.
‘Convert anger into your vote’
While launching the theme song for the Lok Sabha elections, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that the business community of the state is also saying that a person from our society was the Chief Minister of Delhi, he was also caught and put in jail. He said, ‘There is reaction among businessmen, there is reaction among youth, there is reaction among mothers and sisters. There is anger among the people across the country. Convert this anger into your vote and vote for Aam Aadmi Party during the elections to be held in Delhi on 25th May.
‘Surat is just a glimpse, the whole country is yet to come’
Referring to the incident in Surat, Gujarat, Sanjay Singh said that BJP has started from Surat to abolish the Constitution of the country. He said, ‘In Surat, the nomination of the Congress candidate was rejected and the victory certificate was given to the BJP candidate even before the elections. It has never happened before in history that a ruling party has won without elections. Surat is just a glimpse, the entire country is yet to be seen. As soon as they come to power, these people will abolish Baba Saheb’s constitution, reservation and voting rights.
