Jaipur. Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Smriti Sansthan will inaugurate Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Memorial Library at Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Smriti Sthal near Vidyadharnagar Stadium on 15 May. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav, MP and BJP State President Madan Rathore will duly inaugurate the library. Thousands of books and documents of private collection of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat in the library will be available for students, researchers for free. Among them, books related to democratic history, parliamentary work, law, geography are prominent.
Abhimanyu Singh Rajvi said that the then Chief Minister of Punjab Prakash Chandra Badal had sanctioned one crore rupees for the library. The JDA built a building two years ago. JDA handed over this library to Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Smriti Sansthan. This library of Rajasthani architectural style will be operated by the institute. About thousand books and documents have been kept in the library. The same books are to be kept.
Digital library will also be built here in future. Its preparations have started. Books related to students preparing for competitive examinations will also be available here. There will also be separate chambers for study. Preparations were finalized on Wednesday led by Abhimanyu Rajvi. On Wednesday, officers and employees of the district administration, police administration including JDA, Municipal Corporation, PWD and other departments also saw preparations. Preparations continued loudly till late evening. Two temporary helipads have been built at Vidyadhar Stadium for Lok Sabha Speaker and Union Ministers. On Wednesday evening, rehearsals were also done to take off the helicopter on the helipad.
