So, today we will give you the advice of a dietitian as to which foods we should include in our diet in summers, which will keep our stomach light and also keep our body energetic.
We talked to Priyanka Jaiswal, co-founder of Diet to Nourish, on this topic. While talking to Local 18, she said that she has been giving tips to people above 10 years of age in this field to have a healthy diet. buttermilk – Drinking buttermilk in summer is very beneficial for health. It is a good source of probiotics. This improves digestion and immunity. Drinking buttermilk cools the body from inside and also removes heat from the stomach. It contains healthy vitamins and minerals like Vitamin B12 and Calcium, which are beneficial for health.
Cucumber – Consumption of cucumber is considered beneficial in the summer season. Water is found in large quantities in it. Fiber and vitamins are found in it which will help in cooling the body from inside. By consuming cucumber, your stomach will also feel light and your body will also remain energetic.
eat fresh fruits and vegetables – During the summer season, include such food items in your diet which are low fat, cool, light and nutritious. Include fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet during summer. Fruit salads like berries and stone fruits like peaches, cherries, blackberries, apricots, carrots, grapes, cherry tomatoes and beets are not only rich in flavonoids, carotene and fibre, but are also effective in summer.
