A day-night Test match will be played between India and Sri Lanka at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from Saturday. The Day-Night Test is also called the Pink Ball Test, as it competes with the Pink Ball instead of the Red. The match will start at 12.30 pm in Bangalore.
A total of 18 Day-Night Tests have been played in the last five years and the results of all have come out. Two-thirds of these matches were over in four or less days. Only six out of 18 Tests lasted for five days, while the results of 12 Test matches came in four or less days.
