New Delhi. Indian captain Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli along with other players will take part in the practice session before the three ODI International cricket match series against Sri Lanka starting from August 2. The players included in the ODI team including Rohit, Kohli and Harshit Rana, who was included in the team for the first time, reached Sri Lanka on Sunday. They will practice before the start of the series.
The Indian T20 team led by Suryakumar Yadav will play its final match in Pallekele on Tuesday. After this, the players included in the ODI team will be seen playing under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Rohit, Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav will take the field for the first time after India’s victory in the T20 World Cup.

Shreyas Iyer will also return to the national team from the ODI series against Sri Lanka. He played his last limited overs match for India against South Africa in December last year. All these players included in the ODI team will practice in Colombo under the supervision of assistant coach Abhishek Nair. All three ODI matches against Sri Lanka will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium. The first match will be played on August 2, the second on August 4 and the third on August 7.
