Monday, July 29 was not a special day for India at the Paris Olympics. Although Indian athletes made it to the next round or final in some sports, India could not get a single medal on the third day of Olympics 2024. Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh reached the final of the 10m air pistol mixed team event, while two other finalists could not win medals. In which everyone had high expectations from the men’s archery team. The Indian men’s hockey team also played against Argentina. With the help of a goal scored by captain Harmanpreet Singh on a penalty corner in the last moments, India equaled their opponents and tied 1-1.

India ready for day four

After a volatile third day of play, once again Indian athletes are fully prepared for the fourth day of play. Where India is hoping for medals from Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh. India’s schedule on Day 4 of Paris Olympics:

  1. 12:30 PM: Shooting – Shreyasi Singh and Rajeshwari Kumari will be in action on Day 1 of the Women’s Trap Qualification on Tuesday. In the Men’s event, Prithviraj Tondaiman will be in action on Day 2 of his qualification event.
  2. 1 PM: Shooting – Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh will take on South Korea in the 10m Mixed Team Air Pistol bronze medal match.
  3. 1 pm: Rowing – Balraj Panwar will play in the Men’s Single Sculls quarter-finals
  4. 2:30 PM: Equestrian – Anush Aggarwal and horse Sir Caramello will participate in the Old Dressage Individual Grand Prix event
  5. 4:45 PM: Hockey – India vs Ireland
  6. 5:14 PM: Archery – Ankita Bhaka will compete in the Round-of-64 and will face Violeta Maszor of Poland. Ankita finished 11th in the ranking round.
  7. 5:27 PM: Archery – Bhajan Kaur will also face Indonesia’s Sifiya Kamal in the Round of 64. She had finished 22nd in the ranking round.
  8. 5:30 PM: Badminton – Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will play their last group match against Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Ardianto of Indonesia. They have already qualified for the quarterfinals.
  9. 6:20 PM onwards: Badminton – Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto will take on Setiyana Mapasa and Angela Yu in a group stage match.
  10. 7:16 PM: Boxing – Amit Panghal will take on Patrick Chinyemba in the Round-of-16 bout of the Men’s 50kg category.
  11. 9:30 PM: Boxing – Jasmine will take on Nesthy Petecio of Philippines in the Round-of-32 match of the women’s 57kg category.
  12. 10:46 PM: Archery – Dheeraj Bommadevara will face Adam Lee of Czech Republic.
  13. 1:06 AM: Boxing – Preeti Pawar will take on Yeni Arias of Colombia in the women’s 54kg category round-of-16 match.
