Olympics 2024 Medal Tally: Paris Olympics 2024 is now almost nearing its end. In such a situation, the medal tally is also witnessing a lot of ups and downs. India may not have performed as expected in this Olympics, but the first medal came in wrestling on 9 August in which Aman Sehrawat won the bronze medal, with this it was India’s sixth medal in this Olympics. However, this has not seen any significant improvement in India’s position in the medal tally.

While India succeeded in winning 3 bronze medals in different shooting events in Olympics 2024, the Indian hockey team also won a bronze medal on 8 August and then Neeraj Chopra won a silver medal in the javelin throw final, taking India’s medal tally to 5. On 9 August, India got only one medal, which was won by Aman Sehrawat in wrestling in the 57 kg freestyle event. After this medal, when the 14th day ended at the Paris Olympics, India was at 69th place in the medal tally with 6 medals.
America and China have won the most gold medals so far, 33
America’s dominance was seen in this Olympics in which they have won the most medals so far, a total of 111. This includes 33 gold medals along with 39-39 silver and bronze medals. China is in second place in the medal tally with a total of 83 medals in its account of which 33 are gold. While Australia is in third place with 48 medals, Japan and Great Britain are at fourth and fifth place with 37 and 57 medals respectively.
