78th Independence Day: Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned the situation in Bangladesh in his address from the Red Fort. He said that whatever happened in Bangladesh in recent days has increased India’s concern. PM Modi said – Hopefully the situation there will return to normal soon. India always wants that our neighboring country lives in peace.

Ensure safety of minority community

In his speech on the occasion of Independence Day, he also said that he would wish well for Bangladesh’s development journey. Modi said, “As a neighbouring country, it is natural for us to be concerned about what has happened in Bangladesh. I hope that the situation there will soon become normal. The concern of 140 crore countrymen is that the safety of the Hindu and minority community should be ensured there.”

May neighboring countries live in happiness and peace

He said, “India always wants our neighbouring countries to walk on the path of happiness and peace. We have a commitment towards peace, it is our culture. We will always have our best wishes for Bangladesh’s development journey in the coming days, because we are people who think about the welfare of mankind.”
