India Vs Zimbabve T20 Series Fourth Match: India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets, took an unassailable lead in the T20 series

New Delhi. India has taken an unassailable lead of 3-1 in the fourth match of the 5 match T20 series by defeating Zimbabwe by 10 wickets today. With this, Team India has now captured the series as well. The fifth and last match of the series has become a mere formality. With this, India has also equaled one of its old records. This is the second time India has registered a victory by 10 wickets in a T20 match. Earlier, India had achieved this feat in the year 2016 and the interesting thing is that even then Zimbabwe was opposite India and the match was also played in Harare.

In today’s match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Zimbabwe batted first and scored 152 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Zimbabwe team captain Sikandar Raza scored the highest 46 runs for his team. Chasing the target of 153 runs, Team India won the match in 16.2 overs without losing any wicket. Both the opening batsmen of India displayed amazing batting and scored half-centuries. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal could not complete his century due to the low runs of the opposing team.

Yashasvi played a stormy innings of 93 runs in 53 balls. In this innings, Yashasvi hit 13 fours and 2 sixes. Yashasvi completed his half-century in just 29 balls. On the other end, India’s captain Shubman Gill also played a brilliant innings of 58 runs in 39 balls. Gill hit 6 fours and 2 sixes in his innings. Khaleel Ahmed was the most successful bowler for India today. He took 2 wickets for 32 runs in his 4-over spell.
