New Delhi. On Wednesday, a program was organized at the PhD House on the completion of 120 years of the PhD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla attended the program. During this time he launched a coffee table book and honored the previous presidents of the industry for his contribution. Addressing the program, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that there was a time when India used to be a market for consumption. India used to be the market of countries around the world. Today the situation has changed. He said that the rapid transformation in India’s industrial sector, India will lead to many regions of the world in the coming times.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla posted on social media platform X. He wrote in the post, “PhD. On completion of 120 years of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, addressed a function held in Delhi today. The fifth biggest economy in the world is increasing in India today, because there are sustainable policies, stable governance, law and order and efforts are being made to simplify the tax system. Efforts are being made to make India a significant role in the constituency and industry in the last few years. It is, which has strengthened our service sector, and we are also moving towards self -sufficiency in the industries. There is a sustainable and inclusive model of development in which policy suggestions of PhD Chamber of Commerce and Industry are very important. Best wishes.”
