Maulana Tauqir Raza’s statement has come to the fore regarding Nupur Sharma’s controversial remark on Prophet Mohammad. There is anger and restlessness among the people, he said. Regarding the reaction of Arab countries after Nupur Sharma’s statement, he said that the country is facing embarrassment due to the mistakes of some people. He said that our country is following the words of other countries but our people are not being listened to.
Tauqeer Raza is going to do a program on 10th June, in which a large number of people are going to participate. Talking about this program, he said that there will be a program after the namaz on the 10th, in which, 2.50 to 3 lakh people will participate. He said that this program is not just to protest or to harass, intimidate, threaten or harass the district police, but to express one’s anger in the interest of the country. The program has to be peaceful.
There is anger and restlessness among the people, he said. The anger is most on the fact that our country is acting under pressure from other countries by not listening to its family members, but is not ready to listen to the family members.
He said that it is regrettable that India is being defamed in front of the world and people who love this country are feeling pain due to this. He said that the country has to face embarrassment in front of the world because of the mistake of some people and some wrong policies.
Tauqir Raza said, “The fight that is there is the fight of Astha. Let no one else hurt our beliefs. In the same way, it is the responsibility of us and the Muslims that no one’s faith should be hurt because of any of our calls or failures.
He said that there is a bath in the Ganges on the 10th, which is a very big festival. There is a lot of crowd in this and small children and women are more involved, so in such a situation it is not appropriate for our 2-2.5 lakh people to come out on the streets.
