Delhi surpasses Shanghai, New York and London to install maximum number of CCTV cameras per square mile
Delhi, the capital of India, has made a big record. Now Delhi has surpassed the world’s major cities and holds the record for installing the maximum number of CCTV cameras. Delhi has also left behind the big cities of the developed country in this matter. Let us tell you that Delhi has 1826 CCTV cameras per square mile, which is three times more than Chennai and 11 times more than Mumbai.
Let us tell you that according to a survey conducted by Forbes magazine, Delhi and Chennai are the cities with the highest number of CCTVs in the world. Who has even left behind the cities of China. However, Delhi ranks first in the world in terms of number of square miles of CCTV cameras. Chennai is third and Mumbai 18th.

On this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has expressed happiness over the record of having the highest number of CCTV cameras in the world. Kejriwal tweeted, “We are happy to announce that Delhi has overtaken cities like Shanghai, New York and London to install the highest number of CCTV cameras per square mile. 1826 per square mile in Delhi There are cameras, whereas London has 1138 cameras per square mile. Congratulations to our officers and engineers working on Mission Mode, with the help of which we have achieved this feat in such a short time.”
