The Congress has blamed outside forces for not increasing the number of followers of former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi on Twitter. Let us tell you that on Monday, the Congress alleged that the number of Twitter followers of Rahul Gandhi was stopped due to outside influence. In a tweet, it has been said on behalf of the Congress that now it has reached two crores.
In fact, in August 2021 last year, in connection with the rape case in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi shared a photo of himself with the family members of the rape victim on Twitter. Due to this, there was a lot of uproar on behalf of BJP to reveal the identity. After this Twitter took action and locked Rahul Gandhi’s account for 8 days.
Later, the number of followers on Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter account was not increasing. After which he complained by writing a letter to Twitter India CEO Parag Agarwal. On 27 December, he opposed this, saying that the number of his new followers had reached zero. At the same time, 2.3 lakh followers were added every month.
Rahul Gandhi had alleged on Twitter that, all this is being done due to political pressure. However, now it has been said from the Congress that the number of Twitter followers of Rahul Gandhi has seen a boom again. Now it has increased to 20 million.
Regarding this, the Congress informed in a tweet that the Twitter followers of Rahul Gandhi have touched the figure of 20 million. After the letter written to the CEO of Twitter, the number of followers has increased again. In such a situation, it is proved that the ban on the number of followers of Rahul Gandhi is the hand of outside forces on Twitter. Congress social media chief Rohan Gupta said that we hope that Twitter will not work under pressure from the government.
