On Wednesday, Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari reached Parliament on Wednesday in the country’s first green hydrogen-powered car. The name of this car is Mirai. A special permission was issued to bring the car to Parliament.
Nitin Gadkari said that the prices of petrol, diesel and gas etc. are continuously increasing and this also causes pollution. The new initiative will help in controlling pollution. He said that soon this car will come to the country. Green hydrogen has been used in this technique, which is available from water. Now manufacturing of Green Hydrogen will start in the country.
This will curb imports and new employment opportunities will also be available. Nitin Gadkari said that soon green hydrogen will be produced in the country. New stations will be built so that hydrogen is easily available for vehicles. This will also save the country’s imports. Recently Gadkari started this hydrogen car test.
According to the information, from June Nitin Gadkari will be able to use this vehicle regularly. At present, this vehicle will be used according to the availability of hydrogen in the vehicle. It is being told that this hydrogen-powered vehicle will run for 650 km once the tank is filled. This car can be driven at an expense of two rupees per kilometer. Apart from this, it does not take much time to fill hydrogen in this vehicle. With the help of this initiative, it will also help in reducing the amount spent on petrol and diesel.
