The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced the candidates for the by-elections to the Lok Sabha and Assembly seats. The party has once again expressed confidence in Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav “Nirhua” for the by-elections being held on Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat. On the other hand, Ghanshyam Lodhi has been given ticket from Rampur seat. BJP has announced candidates for 2 Lok Sabha seats and 7 Assembly seats.
By-elections will be held in 4 assembly seats of Tripura. The party has fielded Chief Minister Manik Shah from Town Bordowali, Ashok Sinha from Agartala, Swapan Das Patil from Surma and Malina Debnath from Jubrajnagar. At the same time, Gundlapally Bharat Kumar Yadav has been given ticket from Atmakur assembly seat of Andhra Pradesh. While Rajesh Bhatia has been fielded from Rajinder Nagar assembly constituency of Delhi and Gangotri Kujur from Mandar seat of Jharkhand.
After getting the ticket, Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua tweeted his gratitude to the central and state leadership. He tweeted, “Thank you to all the central leadership and state leadership of BJP including Honorable Prime Minister, Honorable National President, Honorable Home Minister, Honorable Chief Minister, for reposing faith in me. I am eager to take the affection and blessings of respected people of Azamgarh – Janardan. It is only with their immense support and trust that Azamgarh will attain new heights of development and prosperity.”
Let us inform that from Azamgarh, the SP has expressed confidence in the Dalit candidate. The SP has fielded Sushil Anand, son of Balihari Babu, one of the founding members of BAMCEF. Whereas BSP has nominated its strong Muslim leader Guddu Jamali as its candidate. Akhilesh Yadav had resigned from Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat, after which this seat remained vacant.
In the recently concluded assembly elections, the SP had won all the 10 seats in Azamgarh. Whereas BJP has announced its candidate from Rampur seat but SP has not announced the name yet. It is believed that SP can make Azam Khan’s daughter-in-law Sidra Khan its candidate. On the other hand, BSP will not contest the Rampur bypoll.
