Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray resigned as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on 29 June. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has taken a jibe at his resignation. He said that it is the effect of Hanuman Chalisa that 40 MLAs of the government have gone away in 40 days. He said that this is the first time that any government has gone in the name of Hindutva.

The BJP leader has shared a video from his Twitter handle. In which he is saying that wherever there has been association with Congress, there have been such discrepancies. He said that whatever came in contact with Congress became clear. Giving examples, he said that Akhilesh Yadav came in contact with Congress, got cleared, Tejashwi Yadav came and now Uddhav Thackeray has also become clear.
Hanuman Chalisa Controversy: In fact, on April 22, 2022, in the midst of a loudspeaker controversy, independent MP Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana had announced to recite Hanuman Chalisa outside Uddhav Thackeray’s residence Matoshree. Since then, a large number of Shiv Sainiks had gathered outside his residence.

In this case, the police had registered a case against the Rana couple. The complaint went on to say that Matoshree Shiv is like a temple for soldiers and that the Rana couple had hurt their sentiments. The Rana couple was arrested by the police in this case and later released on bail.
Regarding the opposition to Hanuman Chalisa, Narottam Mishra took a jibe at Shiv Sena and said that it is the effect of Hanuman Chalisa that 40 MLAs of the government left in 40 days. Eknath Shinde claims that he has the support of 39 Shiv Sena MLAs.
On June 29, Uddhav Thackeray has resigned from the post of Chief Minister as well as from the post of MLC. It is known that due to the rebellion of Shiv Sena MLAs, now there are 16 MLAs left in the Uddhav Thackeray camp. In such a situation, his party has reached number five in the state on the basis of strength of numbers.
Actually the BJP is the largest party in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, which has 106 MLAs, while NCP (54 MLAs) is at number two, Congress (44 MLAs) at number three, Eknath Shinde faction at number four (39 MLAs) and number five. The party is Shiv Sena which has 16 MLAs left.
