Voting was held on 27 seats of the Legislative Council in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. During this, Shashi Yadav, the female head of Sadat block of Ghazipur district, alleged fraud during voting. The woman alleges that the people present inside the polling center are not allowing voters to cast their votes on their own and are casting fake votes in a domineering manner.
Let us inform that a video related to this has been shared by SP chief Akhilesh Yadav from his Twitter account. In which it can be seen that two women are complaining of fake voting. A woman is seen saying that the people sitting inside took the voting slip from us and asked whom you are casting your vote for.
Let us inform that in the video, Shashi Yadav claimed that she is the head of the big village of Sadat block. The woman said, “A woman inside tried to get the slip from us. But we refused. After this, after casting our vote, she started seeing the slip that who voted for. The woman said that this is not her right.
At the same time, by sharing its video, Akhilesh Yadav has called it highly objectionable and condemnable. He wrote, “In the true sense of the ‘cleanliness campaign’, the most needed is to save the democratic electoral process from the ugliness of power.”
Let us inform that in the midst of MLC elections, the CM of the state Yogi Adityanath also exercised his vote in Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted after voting and said, “For the construction of ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ and victory of good governance, he has done his duty by voting in Gorakhpur in the Legislative Council biennial elections of Uttar Pradesh Local Authority Constituencies.”
Apart from this, CM Yogi claimed victory and said that a ruling party will get majority in the Legislative Council after almost 4 decades. He said that in order to take forward the public welfare program in UP, it is necessary for a party to get an absolute majority in both the houses of the state.
