Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM has offered to join the Maha Vikas Aghadi government to stop the BJP in Maharashtra. At the same time, this discussion got further impetus when he met Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel. However, Raut has now said that meeting Jalil does not mean an alliance.
Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that Imtiaz Jaleel is a member of AIMIM. I keep meeting them, it doesn’t mean we are in alliance with them. We cannot imagine forming an alliance with AIMIM. Apart from this, there is a secret alliance between AIMIM and BJP, which you must have seen in the UP Assembly elections.
AIMIM spokesperson Imtiaz Jaleel told The Indian Express on Saturday, “We are ready to tie up with the MVA government so that we can keep the communal-minded BJP out of power.” He said that we want all non-BJP parties to fight elections together and keep BJP out of power.
Offering to join the alliance, Jaleel said, “The MVA is a three wheeler. If they add one more wheel, it will become stronger.” Jaleel told that he has made this offer through Rajesh Tope, a minister in the MVA government. Jalil said that recently my mother had passed away, so Minister Tope had come to my house to pay tribute to my mother.
During the conversation, he said that Congress-NCP is losing because of AIMIM. Then I told him that we are ready to come with him to keep BJP out of power. However, on this offer, Sanjay Raut said that Maha Vikas Aghadi is an alliance of three parties Shiv Sena, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). There is no room for any fourth party in this.
Meanwhile, on the news of Maha Vikas Aghadi and AIMIM having an alliance, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said, “All these people are the same, if AIMIM joins with them then we don’t care because people vote after seeing PM and our work. . But it remains to be seen how Shiv Sena and AIMIM come together.”
