Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi, an accused in the attack on the Gorakhnath temple complex located in Gorakhpur, was arrested on April 3. Since then many shocking things have come to light about him. A video of Mortaza surfaced on Thursday, in which he has made many revelations about the attack. Murtaza told that wrong happened with Muslims in CAA-NRC. He was furious about this.
There is information about 29-year-old Murtaza that he has graduated from Bombay IIT. In the latest video that surfaced, he can be heard saying that he took this step because he felt that Muslims were being exploited. In his video, he has mentioned about CAA-NRC and Karnataka (Hijab controversy).
The video seems to be of interrogation by the police. In which Abbasi has a bandage tied in his hand. In the video, Murtaza Abbasi is seen saying, “After buying the khurpi, he took a tempo to reach the gate of the Gorakhnath temple. The police were stationed there. He said that he had come to Gorakhpur from Nepal before attacking the temple. In another video, Abbasi said that the policemen had come to his house so he had fled to Nepal.
Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi said about the Karnataka Hijab controversy that what went wrong with the Muslims in Karnataka. He said that he was in depression for several days due to exploitation of Muslims. He thought that after coming to Gorakhpur, he would go away after completing his work.
UP ADG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar informed in a press conference on Thursday that we had already said that there is a big conspiracy behind the incident. Police is probing all aspects of the case. All the allegations that have come to the fore during the investigation will be confirmed.”
Let us inform that after the attack on the temple, Murtaza’s father had said that his mental condition was not right. In such a situation, Prashant Kumar said on Abbasi’s mental state, “If the accused makes such a claim, then we will get the psychological assessment done by experts as per the norms.”
