Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a two-day visit to Japan to attend the Quad meeting. Many issues related to the World Order were discussed in this meeting. PM Modi also held bilateral meetings with the leaders of the Quad countries and discussed international relations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted rare Indian art objects from Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu to fellow Quad leaders from Australia, the US and Japan. US President Joe Biden is said to have been gifted by PM Modi to a common art, a hand-cut paper design of Krishna motifs. While a Gond painting was gifted by PM Modi to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
PM Modi gifted Japanese President Fumio Kishida a wooden carved box with rogan paintings from Gujarat. While gifting former Japanese prime ministers a unique superfine silk mat and pattumdai silk mat weaved from ‘Korai’ grass grown on the banks of the Tamiraparani river in Tamil Nadu.
At the same time, PM Modi’s meeting with US President Joe Biden was the most discussed in the Quad countries meeting held in Japan. Before meeting PM Modi, the US President praised him fiercely. Praising PM Modi, the US President said, “PM Modi has done a wonderful job in the Corona epidemic. Democracy is heavy on expansionism and this is proved by Modi. He showed how democracy works.”
At the same time, during the meeting with PM Modi, US President Joe Biden said that I am committed to making the US-India partnership the closest to us on earth. He further said, “Our countries together can and will do a lot. We are also renewing the Indo-US Vaccine Action Program.
