Elections are about to take place for the post of President and before that the game of anti-defection has started. NDA currently has about 48 percent votes and now the NDA has to make arrangements for 2 percent votes. BJP has entrusted the responsibility of winning the candidate supported by the party in the presidential election to party president JP Nadda and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. At the same time, before the elections, BJP has got the MLAs of other parties included in the BJP in Madhya Pradesh.
In Madhya Pradesh, SP, BSP and independent MLAs have joined BJP. SP MLA Rajesh Shukla, BSP MLA Sanjeev Kushwaha and Independent MLA Rana Vikram Singh have joined BJP. State President VD Sharma got the membership of BJP in the state office to all the three MLAs. During this, the Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan was also present. NDA will gain 262 votes in the presidential election if all the three MLAs join BJP.
On joining BJP of all three MLAs Shivraj Singh Chauhan welcomed them. Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted and wrote, “Warmly welcome MLA Shri Sanjeev Kushwaha ji, MLA Shri Rajesh Shukla ji and MLA Shri Rana Vikram Singh ji, who joined BJP today, in the Bharatiya Janata Party family. Under the guidance of BJP National President respected Shri JP Nadda ji and under the leadership of State President Shri VD Sharma ji, we will do maximum work for the service of the public. We will leave no stone unturned in the noble work of development of the state and welfare of the people.
On the other hand, State President VD Sharma said on the joining of the three MLAs, “We are proud that today three such strong and powerful public representatives have joined the BJP family, who are constantly active for the development of their area and the welfare of the society. I have full faith that Bijawar, Bhind and Susner Vidhan Sabha will move ahead at a faster pace with the joining of the three MLAs in the BJP family.
Let us inform that on Monday itself, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. At the same time, today BJP also announced the candidates for the post of mayor for the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation elections.
