Jaipur. Pre-monsoon rains due to the activation of western disturbance in Rajasthan have created a stir. Heavy rains are falling in various areas of the state. The Meteorological Department released the data of rainfall of the last 24 hours till 8 am on Saturday and said that during this period the highest rainfall has been recorded in Jhalawar district adjoining Madhya Pradesh. Very heavy rain has been recorded in Khanpur of Jhalawar. 117 mm of rain fell there.
According to the Director of Meteorological Department, Radheshyam Sharma, during this period, Chechat in Kota received 106 mm of rain, Jhalawar 84 mm and Fagi in Jaipur 80 mm. The maximum rainfall in western Rajasthan was recorded in Pachpadra in Barmer. 23 mm of rain was recorded there. Today also, there will be rain activities with thunder in the state. There is a possibility of rain in some parts of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions after noon today.

There will be less rain in northern and north-eastern Rajasthan
According to Sharma, pre-monsoon activities will continue in some parts of southern and south-eastern Rajasthan in the coming days. There are chances of rain in some parts of Udaipur, Kota, Jodhpur and Ajmer divisions for the next 3-4 days. On the other hand, there will be a decrease in rain activities in some parts of Bikaner, Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions of northern and north-eastern Rajasthan for the next two-three days. During this time, there is a possibility of an increase of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in temperature there.
Rain also brought happiness in Ganganagar
Earlier, there was heavy rain in Sri Ganganagar in western Rajasthan. Due to this, the temperature dropped by more than 11 degrees in a single day on Friday. About 44 mm of rain was recorded there too. There is movement of clouds in Jaipur too. Due to this, cold easterly winds are blowing.
