India’s first rapid rail is being prepared to run between Delhi and Meerut (Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail). The works of construction of tanks, pillars and stations are going on in full swing. This train (Delhi Meerut RRTS Train) has been linked to the ‘Kavach’ technology recently trained by the Indian Railways, with this technique two trains stop a few kilometers before colliding with each other. what will be the specialty
Talking about the specialty of Rapid Rail, it will have six coaches, which will be increased to 9 depending on the usage. Out of these six coaches, one will be a premium coach, which will be provided with facilities ranging from Wi-Fi to many high facilities.
1500 people will travel
There will be a total of 407 seats in six coaches of the train. 1500 passengers will be able to travel in the train at a time. Looking at this train, it appears that it has been designed in the safe of an aircraft. The train has been designed keeping in mind the speed of the train.
Speed will be three times more than metro
It is capable of achieving three times the speed of the metro. This train has an average speed of 100 km/h and a maximum speed of 160 km/h. The train is expected to run by March 2023. It will be run for the first time till Duhai in Uttar Pradesh, covering five stations between Sahibabad in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
