The RSS has decided to collaborate with researchers, writers and opinion makers to present a fact-based narrative of India to counter attempts to spread misinformation about the country, both foreign and domestic. A senior official of the Sangh gave this information. During the three-day meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the apex decision-making body for the Sangh, in Ahmedabad, to present a true picture of the Indian society, its Hindu community, its history, culture and way of life. This and many other issues were discussed, including methods.
Speaking to reporters on the last day of the meeting, RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said, “In India and abroad, attempts are made to spread misinformation on subjects related to India, either unintentionally or deliberately. This has been going on since the time of the British. Dattatreya Hosabale further said, “There is a need to change this ideological narrative and encourage a grand narrative of India based on facts. There is a need to present a true picture to the society on the subjects of India, its Hindu community, its history, culture, way of life.
