In the presence of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, land of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport was given on lease to the Airport Authority of India at his Lucknow residence on Monday. Let us inform that during this time on 7th April, CM Yogi said that UP has made the most progress in air connectivity in the country within 5 years. This has been possible with the guidance of Prime Minister Modi.
Land: A lease agreement has been signed between the Civil Aviation Department, UP and Airports Authority of India to lease 317.855 acres of land purchased by the state government to the Airport Authority of India for the development of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya. This airport is proposed on a land of 600 acres.
Cost: The estimated cost of this airport in Ayodhya is 525 crores. The work of this airport is going on very fast these days. A321 in the first phase and code-E B777.300 class aircraft in the second phase will be operated at this airport, which is being developed as an international airport.
What CM Yogi said: CM Yogi said, “At present, the process of construction of 10 new airports in UP is going on on a war footing. After the construction of airports at Shri Ayodhya ji and Jewar, Uttar Pradesh will have more airports than any other state in the country. Uttar Pradesh will be the first state to have five international airports.
In a tweet regarding this, CM Yogi wrote, “Today the land lease agreement was signed between UP Government and Airport Authority of India for Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, Ayodhya in Lucknow. A heartfelt thanks to all for taking forward the construction process of this airport dedicated to the sacred memories of Lord Shri Ram in a timely manner!”
He said, “By next year, we will be in a position to provide 5 international airports to the country. After making the 10 new airports on which work is going on on a war footing, with 19 airports, UP will be the largest state to be connected with air service in the country. CM Yogi said that with the construction of an airport in Ayodhya, the life of the people there will become more simple and easy.
