Stock Market: Tuesday’s trading session in the Indian stock market was full of decline. All the major indices of the market have closed in the red. BSE Sensex fell 736 points or 1.01 per cent to 72,012.05 and Nifty fell 238.25 points or 1.08 per cent to 21,817.45. At the same time, a decline of 0.41 percent was seen in Bank Nifty.
All-round selling trend was seen in the market today. On NSE, 598 shares closed in the green and 1646 shares closed in the red. Both midcap and smallcap indices slipped more than one percent. Nifty Midcap index fell 1.24 per cent or 575 points to 45,926 points and Nifty Smallcap fell 175 points or 1.19 per cent to 14,586 points. Apart from this, the biggest impact of selling was seen on IT, Pharma, FMCG, MNC, Energy, Realty, Media and Auto stocks.

In the Sensex pack, shares of Bajaj Finance, Kotak Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv and Titan closed in the green. JSW Steel, Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Tata Steel, Reliance, Axis Bank, SBI, NTPC, Asian Paints, HUL, Tata Motors, L&T, Sun Pharma, UltraTech Cement, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Power Grid, Infosys, HCL Tech, Wipro Shares of IndusInd Bank, Nestle and TCS closed down.
condition of global markets
Most of the markets in Asia have closed down. The markets of Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Seoul closed in the red. At the same time, the markets of Tokyo and Jakarta closed in the red. There was a rise in the American market in Monday’s trading session. Most of the European markets are trading in the green.
