New Delhi. Wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan, who was dropped from the Indian cricket team, is playing domestic cricket these days. Ishan is participating in the Buchi Babu tournament as captain for Jharkhand. In this tournament, Ishan has made a brilliant comeback in domestic cricket by scoring a brilliant century against Madhya Pradesh. Ishan had distanced himself from the Ranji Trophy in 2023-24. He did not play a match for his state Jharkhand in the Ranji season. After this, the BCCI showed him the way out of his annual contract.
Ishan Kishan is captaining Jharkhand in the Buchi Babu tournament. He played an innings of 114 runs in 107 balls which included 10 sixes and 5 fours. When Ishan was batting on a score of 92, he completed his century by hitting two consecutive sixes. Ishan Kishan had no other way than playing domestic cricket to return to Team India. However, on the advice of the Indian selectors, he played red ball cricket in Tamil Nadu.

Ishan Kishan completed the next 50 runs in 37 balls
Jharkhand had lost 3 wickets for 108 runs at one time against Madhya Pradesh. When Ishan Kishan reached the crease, his team Jharkhand was trailing by 113 runs. After this, he put Jharkhand in a strong position by playing a century innings. Understanding his responsibility, Ishan completed his half century in 61 balls. After this, he scored the next 50 runs in just 37 balls. In response to the 225 runs scored by Madhya Pradesh in the first innings, at one time Ishan had hit 9 sixes within 39 balls.
Eye on Ishan Kishan’s return to Team India
After playing in the Buchi Babu tournament, Ishan Kishan will also play in the Duleep Trophy. He has also been selected for this first class tournament. In the Duleep Trophy, Ishan will play with Team India under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer. Where he will have tough competition with KS Bharat as a wicketkeeper.
