Canada ranked fifth
Among the top 10 countries/regions holding US securities, Canada ranks fifth with a share of $374.8 billion. It is followed by Cayman Islands ($319.4 billion), Belgium ($318 billion), Ireland ($308 billion), France ($307.2 billion) and Switzerland ($287.1 billion). Taiwan ranks 11th with an investment of $265.9 billion.
Global growth is estimated to be 3.2%
The global economy is facing uncertainty amid high inflation, geopolitical tensions and other challenges. In addition, the growth pattern is uneven.
