Air Force C-17 and C-130 aircraft returned to their beige
India has also ended its rescue operation in Afghanistan after bringing back thousands of Indians and Hindu and Sikh citizens of Afghanistan. All aircraft and crews involved in the operation have been recalled. An English news channel had reported quoting Indian officials that the C-17 and C-130 aircraft of the Indian Air Force have returned to their beige.
For the rescue, India had deployed some of its aircraft at the airbase of Tajikistan. These planes were being used to bring India back from Afghanistan. Along with this, Air India aircraft were also used for rescue. Was in constant contact with the US and Tajikistan throughout the rescue. India had rescued thousands of people from Afghanistan even under a very tense situation.
