New Delhi. PM Modi answered many questions in an interview given to news agency ANI just before the Lok Sabha elections 2024. During this, PM Modi was asked about the anti-Sanatan statements recently given by the DMK party leader of Tamil Nadu. In response, Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned the question towards Congress. He said that Congress should answer the question as to what is their compulsion to remain with the parties making such statements. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also remembered an incident and said that Indira Gandhi also used to wear Rudraksh garland. I don’t know why the Congress party now seems to be standing with those making anti-Sanatan statements.

In an interview given to news agency ANI, when Prime Minister Modi was asked what he thought about the controversial statements made on Sanatan recently. In response to this question, PM Modi cornered the Congress and said, ‘I look at this question a little differently. I ask Congress about this. The question to Congress is what is their compulsion. Why are you sitting with those who spew venom against Sanatan? Will your politics remain incomplete?
PM Modi asked- Has Congress lost its original character?
PM Modi further said, ‘What kind of distortion is coming in the thinking of Congress is a matter of concern. Perhaps because of this hatred DMK was born. Gradually people have started recognizing the shop of hatred of Congress. That’s why they are adopting new methods to express their views. So the question is not to him but to the Congress, has the Congress lost its original character?
While attacking Congress on the issue of Sanatan, PM Modi also mentioned the use of pictures inspired by Sanatan in the Constitution. He said, ‘Most of the people in the Constituent Assembly were Gandhians and people associated with the ideology of Congress. When the Constitution was made, the paintings on every page of it were inspired by Sanatan. Sanatan has a proud part in the Constitution and today you are seen standing with those people who make anti-Sanatan statements.
