Indore Airport: Naveen Yadav. Indore. Flight will start soon from Indore for Gondia, a small town on the border of three states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Fly Big, a private flight company that makes Indore a base, is going to start it under the Udaan scheme of the central government. This flight will start from March 13. Bookings will be opened from March 1. Gondia will be the third small city after Kishangarh and Belagavi to have a direct flight service from Indore. Prior to this, private flight company Star Air has started its flight service to Kishangarh in Rajasthan and Belagavi in Karnataka a few years back.
Airlines have tried to start flights to Gondia several times in the past as well. The flight could not start even after the announcement due to Corona, but now after the decrease in Corona cases, it is expected that the flight will start from March 13. According to the information, private flight company Fly Big is going to start this flight between Indore to Gondia and Gondia to Hyderabad.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will launch it through video conferencing. The starting fare has been kept at Rs 1999 only. This city is on the border of all the three states. In which Balaghat of Madhya Pradesh, Nagpur of Maharashtra and Rajnadgaon of Chhattisgarh are very close. Passengers will get a lot of convenience once the flight starts. The aircraft will be 72 seater.

According to travel agents, once the flight starts from Indore to Gondia, there will be a direct connection of Indore to four cities of Maharashtra, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Gondia. People will get a chance to travel by air at cheaper rates. Gondia will get flight connectivity to more cities and Birsi airport will be connected to metro cities in the coming few days.
