Indore News Desk. For the last few months, the traffic management has been cracking down on loud vehicles by installing modified silencers. So far, more than two thousand modified silencers have been seized. On Wednesday, one thousand silencers were broken with a road roller by the traffic management on the service road adjacent to Holkar College. Many drivers install modified silencers in Bullets (two-wheelers) and pass at loud noise, causing trouble to other drivers.
143 silencers have been seized
For the last few months, the traffic management has been taking action to confiscate the modified silencer installed in the Bullet. So far, 2,143 silencers have been seized. On Wednesday morning, the traffic management team lined up more than a thousand silencers on the service road from Holkar Science College, after which all the silencers were confiscated from the road traffic. Traffic Management ADCP Arvind Tiwari said that many drivers install modified silencers in their vehicles, after which they make loud noises like firecrackers, which causes a lot of trouble to the women, children and elderly people passing by.
