Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 14 April Inaugurated the new airport in Hisar on Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. Now to promote industrial development in the state, industrial manufacturing cluster (IMC) will be set up on about 3 thousand acres of land near Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar. Its cost is about Rs. It will cost 4680 crores. This IMC will be developed in collaboration with Haryana Government and National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC). This information was given in an important meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini. It was told in the meeting that there is a possibility of investment of about 32 thousand crore rupees from the development of this project and more than 10 thousand employment opportunities will be created.
IMC industries will get huge benefit from the airport
The Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to complete the formalities soon. He said that this IMC will attract investment from Indian as well as foreign companies. He said that out of 7200 acres of land identified in Hisar, Maharaja Agrasen Airport is spread over 4212 acres and the IMC will be established on about 2988 acres. Being close to the airport will greatly benefit industries.
