GATE 2025 Registration: If you want to pursue post graduation from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), then you have to clear the GATE exam. For this, IIT Roorkee has released the official information brochure of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates who want to apply for this can apply through the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. GATE 2025 will be held on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February.

The last date to apply for the exam is 26 September (without late fee) and 7 October (with late fee). GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in two shifts from 1 to 16 February. The first shift exams will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the afternoon session exams will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
There will be a total of 30 test papers in GATE 2025. Candidates can appear for only one or two test papers. Even if candidates appear for two test papers, they will have to fill only one application form. The test papers of GATE 2025 will be in English and will be completely objective type. The types of questions in GATE 2025 will include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Choice Questions (MSQ) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

In MCQs, only one of the four options is correct. In MSQs, one or more than one of the four options are correct and for NAT questions the answer has to be entered using the virtual keypad.
