Do these 6 yogasanas for better sleep

Child Pose: According to yoga trainer Shashank Gupta, Balasana is helpful in removing the fatigue of the day and keeping you fresh. Doing it regularly is capable of improving blood circulation along with mental health. Not only this, it helps in relaxing the lower back, chest and shoulders, which helps you sleep well. To do this, sit on the mat with your hips down on your heels, so that your forehead touches the floor. Then spread your knees a little and keep your hands under your forehead.

Viparitakarni: Viparita Karani Mudra is more effective in relieving stress and relaxing the body. Actually, the practice of Viparita Karani causes gravitational pull and the head, neck, stomach and legs feel relaxed and one gets good sleep. To do this asana, lie down on your back and lift your legs straight up with the support of the wall. After this, both hands have to be kept straight on the floor.

Butterfly: Butterfly pose is more effective for opening the hips. By doing this pose, fatigue can be reduced to a great extent. Doing this asana daily slows down the heart rate and prepares for sleep. To do this, sit on the mat and stretch the legs forward. As soon as your knees are towards the side, bring your feet together. Hold your toes with your hands.

Sleeping Vakrasana: Bend your knees and rest the lower part of your knees and toes on the mat. Now slowly raise your hands and lie down on the floor while bending backwards. Now press the left knee with the right knee and hold while stretching the body. Then do the same in the other direction. This will relax the spine and the body will relax due to the stretch in the muscles. This will help you sleep well.

Uttanasana: Uttanasana should be done to relieve stress of the spine, neck and back. Doing this keeps the nervous system healthy, as well as improves blood circulation. To do Uttanasana, stand straight in mountain pose with your hands raised up. Slowly bend forward at the hips. Move the hands towards the floor and keep the knees slightly bent. Leave your head and neck relaxed and take deep breaths.

To do Shavasana, lie down on your back and keep your hands by the side and keep your legs spread apart. Close your eyes while paying full attention to your breathing. Leave the body as loose as possible.
