Ban on sale of seeds and insecticidic chemicals
Kotputli-Bahro L In view of providing quality fertilizer, seeds, pesticides to the farmers in the district, a casual inspection of fertilizer, seeds, insecticides working in Kotputli was conducted on Monday under the special quality control campaign being run in the state.
Joint Director Agriculture Mahendra Jain said that during the inspection, a total of 15 vendors were inspected and the sale of seeds and insecticides of a total of 6 vendors was banned due to decrease in documents. Causes were issued to 4 vendors and 7 samples of seeds were taken which are being sent to the laboratory for examination.
He informed that necessary legal action will be taken against the concerned seed vendor and producing company if the samples are found non -standard in the laboratory.
He said that the farmers of the district are advised to buy the exchange from the authorized seeds, fertilizers and insecticides and take a firm bill. Also, do not do any kind of seed, fertilizer and insecticidal from any unknown. In case of any irregularity of any type, immediately inform the local, personnel or office assistant director of the Department of Agriculture, Agriculture, Bahrod or Joint Director Agriculture, Kotputli-Bahrod.
